Christy Knox

Christy Knox is a ceramic artist, educator and naturalist from the United States. Her work specializes in soft slab construction combined with embossed surface decoration made from local flora. She holds a bachelor's degree in art education from the University of Illinois and received an MFA in Ceramics from Ohio University. Her work has been represented by galleries throughout the United States and is held in private collections around the world. Christy has made a life as a full time studio potter for 45 years, taught workshops across the country and her work has been published in two books on ceramics.
