Supporting artists is central to what Pinch does, and it's been that way since we were founded by three artists in 1979. We work with makers from Northampton, the Pioneer Valley, and throughout New England, alongside a small number of national artists whose work aligns with our values.

By connecting customers with artist-made goods, Pinch helps sustain independent creative work and strengthens the regional craft community. Many visitors discover new artists in the shop and return to follow their work over time.
