Extra Large Platter in Starry Night Glaze

These gorgeous stoneware ceramic plates and platters are crafted by hand in Minneapolis, MN by a team of skilled artisans. Each one is handmade on the potter's wheel and one of a kind.

The "Geode Crackle" fused glass center is Dock 6 Pottery's signature design detail of the past 25+ years, it is made by using broken glass that melts and crackles while being fired to 2000+ degrees in the pottery kiln. These bowls do not contain actual geodes, but are reminiscent of the beautiful crystals.

Best used as a decorative piece, fused glass pottery is food safe for dry foods (such as cheese and crackers), however the crackle pattern does contain microscopic cracks which liquids can seep into and be hard to sanitize. We do not recommend using these pots with liquids or wet foods. Fused glass pottery is not dishwasher, oven, or microwave safe.
