Barbara Walch co-founded Pinch Pottery (now Pinch) in 1979, with Leslie Ferrin and Mara Superior. She is one of very few American potters who work primarily with the pinch technique.
Her work reminds us of forms in nature, and has an organic yet whimsical quality and her colors are both earthy and gemlike. The work is functional, from vases to bowls to her signature teapots.
These bird vases are stoneware, water-tight, with an interior blue glaze.
The "tiny" vase is 4.5" high and 1.75" in diameter
The "small" vase is 5-6" high and 2" in diameter
