For the next installment of our Premiering Potters series, please help us welcome Logan Penney to the store! Logan is currently finishing his BFA in Ceramics at UMass Amherst and is apprenticing with local potter James Guggina in Florence, Ma.
“Those who know me understand that I am not afraid to follow my passions. So far those yearnings have taken me to work as a chef in NYC, study industrial design in Atlanta, farm in New Zealand, make wine in Washington and after years of bouncing around I have found my way back to Massachusetts, the state I grew up in, to realize my greatest passion yet - ceramics. My work with clay is varied and vast as my insatiable curiosity constantly leads me down new unexplored paths from instruments, to wood-firing, to floral design.”
Opening reception will be on May 8th, from 5-8pm. Wine and light snacks will be served!
