The Old Places Are Singing Story Picture
Diane Hanna's Story Pictures combine photographs and drawings with an original prose poem, single word, or fitting declaration. Simply framed and tied with a bit of ribbon, Story Pictures are meant to inspire, delight, comfort, and charm. They are memorable gifts from the heart and give voice to its whispers.
"If you really listen you will hear lilacs blooming & corn growing & stones breathing & you will hear the moment summer ends. You will hear milkweed drift cloudward & the sleep of the ancient pines. You will hear the sift of first snow & the flutter of angels under your bed. Listen well… especially in the old places where the wind gathers the lost, whispering dreams, where memory is the only music your heart recalls. Listen. The old places are singing. "
