Artist Story

Initially focused on a career in architecture, Rachel Gunnard worked as a registered architect in Brooklyn, New York. Then, interest in hands-on making resulted in her namesake jewelry line in 2012, which continues today.

"With jewelry, the scale of work has become very small and very personal, much like residential architecture. Each pursuit informs the other, and they both are about how the things in our lives make us feel, and how much our relationship with those things can affect the quality of our lives."
