Diane Hanna makes these meaningful "story pictures" combining her writing and her friends' photography and pictures. She calls her line Stoneheart & Friends. All pieces are made in her studio in Cotuit, MA. We have a broad selection at our shop Pinch, in the heart of Northampton, MA. Known for a variety of great gift options by local artists, Diane's pieces fit right in! They make very thoughtful gifts for Mother's Day, birthdays, and just because.
"I'm always looking for the poetry. It could be the color of cafe au lait in a white cup or the flash of a cardinal in January. It could be the fragrance of old books or a deep green lake or line-dried sheets. I am especially inspired by the Japanese art of Wabi-Sabi and its reverence for the melancholy beauty of an old barn, a forgotten farmhouse, a lost city building." - Artist Diane Hanna
