Devotion to the Otherworld Magazine

Bethany van Rijswijk’s richly layered collages have captivated audiences around the globe. Devotion to the Otherworld takes readers deeper into her world, where scissors rend to repair, and familiar notions of scale and import are disrupted to spellbinding effect. Flowers and toadstools tower over humans, and dew-soaked grasses are parted to reveal other worlds, conjuring lost wisdom and ways of understanding many have forgotten.

In this full-color, hardcover format, Bethany’s work invites us to look even more closely, to acknowledge the festival of relationships that surround us, and to reconsider our place in it.

Features high end art paper and transparencies, plus gold page edges, special foils and debossing.
