Round 15" Spalted Maple Board
Round cutting boards made from spalted maple, available in three sizes. Use them for chopping, cheese boards, or dramatic serving displays.
Spencer Peterman makes these round cutting boards from spalted maple — a hardwood that starts out pale and then develops dark lines and markings as the tree ages. Each wooden board starts as a single slab of reclaimed maple. They shape it by hand and finish it just enough to protect the surface without losing the character of the grain. Around the edge, they leave the natural contour exposed and add a light soy-based stain to bring out the contrast between bark and board.
They’re just the right mix of functional and beautiful. Cut on them, serve from them, or leave one out with a few things on top. These circular wooden boards feel at home in any part of the kitchen — on the counter, in the middle of the table, or wherever they end up between uses.
Large – 15″ diameter
Big enough for a full charcuterie spread, family-style cheese plate, or a multi-use cutting board for prep and presentation.

Wood Care: Hand wash with mild soap and towel dry.
Apply mineral oil once a month to maintain the natural beauty of the wood, except to products with our Driftwood, White Pearl, and Sea Glass finishes. These bowls are made with an acrylic food safe finish and should not be oiled.
Our mineral oil has a beeswax base that adds beauty and protection from everyday wear and tear. Beeswax conditioners help prevent wood from drying out as well as from absorbing too much moisture.
Prolonged exposure to water can cause damage; please do not submerge in water or place in the dishwasher.
Common mistakes include letting old fruit and vegetables mold at the bottom of a bowl (this may stain) and putting a bowl/board in the oven.
