Judy Jackson studied at Smith College, New York University Graduate School, Corcoran School of Art, Penland, and Greenwich House Pottery. Judy is a founder of Tribeca Potters, a studio in New York, just outside Manhattan in Long Island City, shared by several other studio potters.

Judy's work strikes the balance of simple and functional while also being both beautiful and interesting. She describes it: "All of my designs have evolved from simple respect for form, and the unending ability of clay to respond to my abilities to create forms I find pleasing."
